Monica Nassar - Associate
Monica was born in Massachusetts but is a longtime resident of Oregon. She returned to her hometown for her undergraduate degree, graduating from Wellesley College in 2009. She graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2014. While in law school, Monica took the road less traveled and participated in legal study abroad programs through the University of San Diego School of Law and Cornell Law School. She also worked as a legal intern in family-based immigration law during her third year. After law school, Monica worked in employment and labor law. She had the opportunity to work in plaintiff-side workers' compensation as part of the employment and labor law practice. Monica joined MacColl Busch Sato in May, 2018, looking to expand on her knowledge of workers' compensation from the defense perspective.
In her spare time, Monica enjoys cooking, traveling, taking long walks, amassing an ever-growing collection of wine, and anything involving puzzles and trivia. She is an active member of her college's local alumnae association, acting as Vice-President of the Oregon Wellesley Club. She continues to volunteer in immigration law.
